DESCRIPTION:NANOMETA aims to bring together the international Nanotechnology\, Photonics and Materials research communities where most recent and challenging results and plans are discussed in the informal setting on a glorious mountaineering resort. The 2026 technical programme will include invited and selected contributed papers in the areas of: \n\n\nTime crystals and Floquet matter \n\n\nSymmetry breaking in photonics \n\n\nFisher information in photonics \n\n\nTopological light and matter \n\n\nQuantum nanophotonics \n\n\nStrong light-matter interaction on the nanoscale \n\n\nTunable\, reconfigurable\, and programmable metamaterials \n\n\nNonreciprocal interactions and wave phenomena \n\n\nChirality \n\n\nLow-dimensional and hybrid nanophotonic matter \n\n\nAdvanced nanophotonic applications\netc. \n\n\n A special session will be organised to celebrate Sir Michael Berry’s seminal contributions to the physics of waves and topology. \nThe conference will be organised in two oral parallel sessions (Nanophotonics and Metamaterials) to take place during 4 full days from Tuesday 6 to Friday 9 January 2026. The conference timetable will be arranged in a way that permits mid-day breaks for recreational activities and informal contact between participants. \n\nNanometa 2026 will present plenary and breakthrough talks. The conference will also feature a number of invited talks devoted to recent important advances in nanophotonics and metamaterials science and poster sessions.\n\n\nNikolay I. SUMMARY:NanoInnovation 2025
DESCRIPTION:A flagship event for innovation and technological development\, which will be held from September 15 to 19\, 2025\, in the historic San Gallo cloister\, at the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering of the Sapienza University of Rome (Via Eudossiana 18). The event represents a well-established national meeting point for the wide and multidisciplinary community involved in the development of nanotechnology and its integration with other key enabling technologies (KETs)\, in all fields of application. This year\, topics underlying Innovation\, Nanomedicine\, Nanomaterials\, Energy\, and related ecosystems will receive special attention\, with the aim of enhancing the technological and social return on investment in research and higher education. \nNanoInnovation 2025 will once more gather researchers\, technologists\, managers\, entrepreneurs\, and investors who will share their experiences\, opinions\, and expectations on the topics proposed this year\, with constant focus on the world of nanotechnology. \nOnce again\, this year\, special attention will be paid to the direct involvement of young researchers\, doctoral students\, and students\, to support their inclusion in the professional world and foster their role as protagonists in the future of our Society. \nThe 2025 event will be based again\, on the well-established collaboration between co-organizers and partners who will share the coordination of thematic technical symposia\, workshops\, schools\, joint events\, training courses and other interesting initiatives.

SUMMARY:3rd Higgs Pairs Workshop
DESCRIPTION:We are proud to announce that the INFN Pisa together with the Universities of Pisa and Siena will host the Higgs Pairs Workshop in the Hotel Hermitage\, La Biodola\, located on the wonderful Isola d’Elba\, from May 11th to 17th\,  2025. \n  \nWe foresee a thorough review of the latest theoretical results on Higgs boson pair production and on searches for new physics in the scalar sector\, with final results from LHC Run 2\, results from the ongoing LHC Run 3\, and the prospects and potential of the di-Higgs searches at the future colliders. \n  \nThe workshop will provide an unique opportunity for critical discussions. The main goal is to provide intense and fruitful discussions between experimentalists and theoreticians. \n  \nContributions will be organised in parallel and plenary sessions on the current research topics related to the di-Higgs sector\, with invited and submitted talks. \n  \nThe workshop will be held in person\, and is limited to 280 participants\, due to maximum number of the available hotel rooms. Once this limit is reached\, additional registrants will be placed on a first-come first-served waiting list.
