9 – 12 December, 2024 – Fifth EPS Conference on Gravitation in Prague, Czech Republic

  • The conference brought together gravity researchers with a broad range of backgrounds, who are at the forefront of developing and applying numerical approximation and simulation techniques, as well as new analytical methods. We aim for a constructive and interactive meeting, including discussions on the future challenges and opportunities for computation in classical and quantum gravity.

13 – 15 November, 2023 – Fourth EPS Conference on Gravitation in Valencia, Spain

  • The conference showcased the rich landscape of current research in black hole physics and to stimulate exchange of ideas and discussion among the participants.
  • The conference was organised in three days, each one focused around three key topics – theory, observations, phenomenology – introduced by invited speakers and contributed talks followed by round table discussions.

23 – 25 May, 2022 – Third EPS Conference on Gravitation in Nice, France

  • The third EPS Conference of the Gravitational Physics Division focused more on theoretical developments in our field.
  • The conference was well attended and was quite successful. For more details see the homepage: https://3epsgpd.sciencesconf.org

5 – 7 July, 2021 – Second EPS Gravitational Physics Division Conference (Virtual)

  • The conference was originally scheduled from April 7th to April 9th,  2020 at King’s College  London (London, UK) and postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemia.
  • The conference aim was to discuss experimental aspects of Gravity, including General Relativity tests, measurements of the G constant, Geodesy, and Gravitational Waves.
  • The conference was organised in days, each one focused around key topics introduced by invited speakers and  asynchronous contributed talks followed by round tables. The scientific program with the recorded talks and the pdf of most presentations can the found on the following homepage of the conference: https://agenda.infn.it/event/26098/

19 – 21 February, 2019 – First EPS Conference on Gravitation in Rome, Italy

  • The aim of the conference was to discuss about several aspects of Gravitation, such as measurements of the G constant, Quantum Gravity, Geodesy, General Relativity tests, and Gravitational Waves (from the experimental, theoretical and data analysis point of views).
  • The meeting was very successful, with over 100 participants from several countries. Forty talks spanning different areas of gravity where given and more than 20 posters were presented.

19 – 20 April, 2018 – The conference on the Einstein Telescope in Cascina, Italy

The EPS GPD has now signed 6 memorandum of understanding (for cooperation) with the following national relativity societies:
